About us

Who are we?

We are a group of prospective students from DGM whose goal is to eliminate one source of stress on students, school work. Helping with commonly hardest classes, science classes, we strive to better the welfare of our fellow classmates.

By offering online and in-person consultations we aim to break barriers like residence location, financial capability, and time that restrict students from getting help with their educational problems. Flexible timetables, free tutoring services, and online options allow our students to choose the time of tutoring more freely.

Our non-profit student-run educational organization is striving to provide free, one on one, online classes & tutoring in English and Slovene to everyone internationally no matter their socio-economic status, their beliefs, religion, race, and gender.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide quality tutoring to ALL students. Our goal is to support learning and empower students to achieve their goals. We think that in the present world technology and online communities can optimize both equity and individualized attention in learning. We strive to bring tutoring service to underserved and by that help in battling the stress of education.

ORIGIN OF THE IDEA

Being a commuter myself I know the struggles of participating in different activities, seeking help, and doing things freely that commuters face. You are always restricted by time. During the Coronavirus lockdown and the summer of 2020, I've realized in what a bad situation our education is right now. The lockdown affected all of us, but underprivileged communities and students had the worse stance. Online learning during the pandemic really brought to life the idea that I could help with the education of my peers with online tutoring services. Our team strives to overcome the barriers of educational help and aim to elevate the overall high school experience and add to the well-being of students. - Žiga
