Subjects

Science

But why?

Scientific subjects are known to be the hardest classes in high school, causing the most trouble for students, especially the non-science ones. Students are subjected to a lot of stress during their high school years and rapidly developing societies are putting even more burdens on our shoulders. Common headaches from hard subjects are just worsening the situation, contributing to the degradation of our psychological wellbeings. Some students seek help hiring personal mentors/tutors, but the sad truth is that not all of them have that option. Maybe their financial stability doesn't allow it or they just live in an isolated area far away from any help.

This is exactly what brought us together. The degradation of psychological wellbeings and inequality in the sense of available educational assistance among students. By offering help in the hardest classes we strive to help the underserved and elevate the overall high school experience of our peers better.

Languages

But why?

The study of foreign languages teaches and encourages respect for other peoples: it fosters an understanding of the interrelation of language and human nature. Besides, languages expand one’s view of the world, liberalize one’s experiences, and make one more flexible and tolerant. More and more students have problems with knowing multiple languages because English is becoming what Esperanto tried to be, thanks to the media. We are not saying that's a bad thing, however, languages should still be fostered for generations to come. Forgeting a language is the same as vanishing of a part of history. That's why we are offering free help with two most commonly spoken foreign languages in our part of the world, while also supporting the mother tongue of the majority in Slovenia, Slovene. Should we see demand for other languages, we will try our best to recruit appropriate tutors to support them.
